I pretty much only print with ABS. If your printer is enclosed, it prints beautifully. It’s cheap. More flexible than PLA, so less likely to crack with force. So for functional parts, it is way better. Plus significantly higher heat reflection temperature.

I used this stuff for a DIY project, and honestly, it’s pretty solid. The finish is smooth, and it’s easy to work with. It held up well after some light sanding and painting too. Not sure how it’d do under heavy stress, but for small projects, it’s been great so far.

I tried PA-757 for some custom keycaps, and it’s awesome. The material takes dye really well, and the texture feels premium.
Eugene C Phillips –
We primarily use PA-757 for producing light-duty handles and knobs. It’s easy to process, and the end result feels solid without being too brittle. It’s a dependable material for products that don’t need to handle extreme stress.

PA-757, which extrudes a little slower than the gold standard (MG94), but is about half the price.

Inside the car – UV isn’t much of an issue. Windshields block nearly all UV. The driver and passenger windows block 70+% (more if tinted). Given it’s in the middle of the dash – the sun would need to be at pretty extreme angles to be hitting it – and the UV index at those positions would be very low.
All that to say, no need to be hesitant to use ABS for parts inside your car.

Polylac PA-757 isn’t groundbreaking, but it’s a workhorse. I’ve used it for everything from housings to brackets.
Todd K Rivera –
It’s not as heat-resistant as some higher-grade ABS, but for most applications, it’s more than enough.
Lillie I Davis –
We’ve tested a variety of ABS pellets, and polylac pa-757 consistently outperforms in terms of surface finish and impact resistance. Definitely a staple in our materials inventory.
Austin D Felix –
It’s so much easier to mold than the cheaper ABS I’ve used before. The parts feel solid and look professional.
Beth D Whisler –
After testing several ABS pellets, polylac pa-757 stands out for its consistency and quality. It’s been a reliable choice for our injection molding needs, and we’ve seen a noticeable improvement in our product quality. Highly recommend it for anyone serious about their output.
